Evora

Week 2 of our Easter break started out with a great trip to Evora with our language teacher.  This is a city about an hour from our house and it was wonderful!  The city is completely surrounded by it's original city wall and is full of well preserved history.  Over the centuries this city has been inhabited by both the Romans and Moors and there are many building and artifacts left behind.  There is a Roman temple to Diana, a museum with artifacts dating back to the 1st and 2nd century century BC, ancient churches, etc.
