10-10-10

As I was signing a note for Ethan tonight I realized that today is October 10, 2010 (10-10-10).  That doesn't happen often so I thought it deserved a special blog post.

10 THINGS THAT I LOVE ABOUT PORTUGAL

1. Pedestrians always have the right away at the a crosswalk (I only like this when I am the pedestrian.  It can be a pain if you are the driver.)

2. The beach is never more than a few hours away, but usually only a few minutes away.

3. Baba De Camelo (you will have to ask me about this one:)

4. There is a cafe on every corner (and usually 3 or 4).

5. Using the Metro is so much easier than driving.

6. Once they discover we are Americans, the Portuguese love to practice their English with us.

7. Everything is old and has a story.
